First post!
I am not sure yet what to write about in this blog, my friends convinced to start one, and since I am up early this morning with nothing to do, I thought why not? I had to move my car to the over side of the street by 8 am because that side is getting street swept (lol, that sounds funny). Maybe I will go back to sleep, but whats the point now? I am pretty much awake.
I am a substitute teacher, so my work schedule varies. This has its up and downs. It is nice to be able to make your own schedule, and have the freedom to create 3-day weekends for yourself or say, I am taking a mental health day, and take a random Wednesday off, but the downside (and it's a big one) is that then you don't get paid. Which sucks. So, I try to work as much as I can. I am not desperate enough (yet) to take jobs that don't interest me, so right now I am sticking to early elementary. The little kiddies really entertain me. You can bet if they say something funny, I will post it here. My family and friends will appreciate that I can write all my school stories to the internet as opposed to telling them. :)
Okay, that 's all for now, folks, my warm covers are calling me back to bed, i will just "rest" for awhile. I didn't sleep very well last night, I woke up every few hours, and no joke, had a horrible dream that some mean, nasty street sweepers moved my car onto a busy street and when i went to go retrieve it, there was only like 5 pieces of metal and wire. It seemed very real! So it was a nice thing to look outside my window and see good ol' Goldie (my car) parked right where I left her. :)
Later I will watch some of favorite shows that I have DVRed. Jon and Kate Plus Eight, and Top Chef! Yay! There is nothing better than watching your fav shows in your jammies, when you can fast forward through the commercials!
